This International Women’s Day: Less Confetti, More Commitment
International Women’s Day feels a little less festive this year in the US. We’ve moved from #MeToo to “not him too!!” with daily Epstein headlines revealing dispiriting news about attitudes toward women among the powerful. And news is not much better from the workplace: reports show a record exodus of US women from the workforce in 2025 with a particular impact on Black women professionals.
Headlines fluctuate. Institutional responsibility to employees, shareholders and stakeholders does not. Together, we’re proud to partner with leaders who aren’t opting out of the challenge, like past client US Biathlon whose training camp we visited (pictured above), even when the current context makes it feel like an uphill battle.
To help our clients navigate these challenges and successfully build safe and inclusive organizations, we’ve deepened our expertise with the addition of Elana Sigall, an expert in educational policy and sexual misconduct, and Suzette Ramirez-Carr, an expert in HR transformation and culture change.
On this International Women’s Day, let’s reaffirm our shared goal: building organizations where everyone can thrive!
